Your Travel Itinerary with Catena Safaris: What to Expect, Day by Day

A good hunting in argentina starts before the first light. It starts with how you get there, how you’re welcomed, and how everything unfolds before you take that first step into the field.

And that’s exactly where Catena Travel Assistance (CTA) steps in.

Our CTA team handles every detail of your trip inside Argentina — airport transfers, flights, permits, lodging, gear logistics, and even hotel reservations in Buenos Aires if needed. You don’t have to coordinate anything. You just tell us how you want to travel, what pace you prefer, and what you’d like to hunt — and we build everything around you.

This is not a copy-paste itinerary. It’s custom. Tailor-made to your needs. And handled by professionals who do this year-round. We work with hunters, not tourists. And it shows in the way we manage your experience: quiet, smooth, and fully under control.

Day 0 – Arrival in Buenos Aires (EZE)

You land at Ezeiza International Airport.

A Catena Safaris team member or pre-arranged driver will meet you just outside customs.

You’ll transfer to your local hotel or take a direct domestic flight, depending on your schedule.

If staying in Buenos Aires overnight, we’ll recommend where to eat, stay, and unwind before the next day’s travel.

Optional: You can fly to the lodge on the same day if  International flight Itinerary allows. This is possible in most of the cases.

Day 1– Flight to Lodge Region + Arrival

Noon domestic flight to your lodge’s region: Santa Rosa (La Pampa), Mendoza (Los Andes), or Corrientes.

Your guide or lodge driver will meet you at the airport.

From there, it’s a scenic ground transfer — anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on the lodge.

You arrive, settle in, unpack, check your gear, have a light lunch or coffee, and meet your PH.

Afternoon: zero rifles, short walk or drive, orientation to the land.

Dinner. Fire. First taste of lodge life.

Day 2 to Day X – Hunting Days

Every day starts early. Coffee and breakfast before sunrise. Out just as the light breaks.

Morning hunt

Midday break (lunch, rest, gear check)

Afternoon hunt until sunset

Dinner, wine, and stories around the fire

You’ll hunt two-on-one with your guide, move by foot, vehicle, or horseback depending on the species and region. The rhythm adjusts with the weather, the animals, and your own pace.

Final Day – Departure from Lodge

Breakfast + lunch at the lodge

Transfer back to the regional airport

Domestic flight to Buenos Aires

Overnight in the city or connect directly with your international flight home

Optional Extensions

Wingshooting extensions (Dove, duck or perdiz)

Fishing extensions — golden dorado or Patagonia trout

Time in Buenos Aires, Iguana falls or a vineyard visit in Mendoza

Final Word

From the moment you land to the day you leave, everything is planned — but nothing is rigid. You’re not being rushed through a system. You’re being guided through a country, a lodge, and a hunt that was designed around you.
