Our chefs are committed to presenting Argentina’s best dishes, game dishes, and the region's most iconic recipes. Some ingredients are grown right on the ranch by our cooks or sourced from the finest organic producers in Patagonia.

At the heart of it all is the Patagonia hunting at Andalen Lodge a world-class experience that blends thrilling adventure with refined comfort. After each day in the field, our in-house chefs craft a culinary journey that feels real, passionate, and unforgettable.

Drinks are also a key part of our hospitality. That’s why our lodge bar is stocked with premium scotch, American bourbon, Swedish vodka, English gin, and a curated selection of Argentinean spirits.

Hunt & Ranch

Our Andalen ranch, 7,000 acres of private land located in the Northern Patagonia region of Argentina, combining the best landscapes, soft hills, woods, and sand-hills, Andalen ranch becomes the perfect place for red giants spot and stalk, bow or rifle hunting. Our lodge has Weatherby, Mark V, .30-06 rifles available and average shot distance is 140 yards for rifle and 40 yards for bow. Get ready to hike soft hills and woods with the best PH’s of Northern Patagonia.

Guides & Season

We believe in human values, that’s why our professional guides have been with Catena's family since the beginning in 2006. All our PH’s are highly experienced and will ensure that you live a once in a lifetime hunting experience.  Our season runs from March to August and all species can be taken during the entire season. Weather varies throughout our 5 month season, on average we have nice temperature and conditions.

Location & logistics

Andalen Lodge is based in the heart of La Pampa State, in the Northern Patagonian Region of Argentina. The local airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute flight from Buenos Aires city. Catena Travel Assistance will take care of and arrange domestic flights, transfers, hotels, and additional programs for you. Our travel assistance department ensures that logistics in Argentina are tailored and meticulously planned from the moment you arrive until the time you depart.

  • 1. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    A valid passport to enter Argentina is required. No visa required. No vaccines required.

  • 2. DESTINATION AIRPORT NAME?

    You will be flying to Buenos Aires international Aiport (EZE). Once there, our travel assistance team will take care of your logistics to get to the final destination.

     

  • 3. CAN I BRING MY OWN GUN?

    We don't recommend traveling with guns. High Import costs and long airport waiting times are going to make the trip uncomfortable..

  • 4. CAN I BRING MY BOW?

    Feel free to do it, bow is considered as sporting equipment, no paperwork or special import licenses needed.

  • 5. HOW IS WEATHER LIKE?

    We have a big temperature amplitude during the season since it starts in March and We hunt until July. To be accurate, please check www.accuweather.com a week before the trip. Measure point is Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina.

  • 6. IS ARGENTINA A SAFE DESTINATION?

    Yes it is! In fact, we always recommend doing some tourism while in Argentina. There are many destinations to discover Our travel assistance team will advise on the different programs and options.
