Combining mountains, lakes and hills, the Andes lodge is a 14,000 acres private land ranch with one of the best scenic views of the country. The hunt is usually on horseback. Once the animal is spotted, you will be stalking the trophy by walking to take the shot. We use Weatherby 30-06, Mark V rifles and average shots are 200 yards. The terrain is exceptional for bowhunting, hiking the edges Where you will be looking for a red stag shot at 40 yards.
Red stag roaring season takes place from March to May. Geography is perfect for spot, stalk and horse riding hunting through the Andes mountains. All our PH are highly qualified hunters and English speaking. You will also be accompanied by A gaucho that will take care of the horses and the hiking during the hunt.
The Andes lodge is located in the middle of The Andes mountains in the Tupungato region of Mendoza. The local airport is a 1-hour 40 min flight from Buenos Aires city.
