Travel Requirements

PRE TRIP INFORMATION: Travel Requirements
From the US, Canada, and Europe

Getting to Argentina is easier than most expect. Whether you’re flying in from North America or Europe, the process is straightforward — and our CTA team handles everything once you land.

Here’s what you need to know before you board your flight.

Passport & Visa Requirements

  • U.S. citizens: NO VISA REQUIRED. Just a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity.

  • Canadian citizens: NO VISA REQUIRED. Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond arrival.

  • European Union & UK citizens: NO VISA REQUIRED. Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your stay.

All travelers must enter Argentina with proof of onward travel (your return ticket).

Firearm Policy (If Bringing Your Own)

  • Bringing a firearm is allowed — but We do not recommended. We offer high-quality rifles at every lodge.

This is a long and tedious process that You do not want to deal with. Usually takes more than 4 hours at every airport and costs three times  more than gun rental. At CSA We use Weatherby Mark V rifles, so you do not have to worry about.

If you choose to travel with your own gun:

    • You must declare it in advance, at least 6 months

    • You’ll need to register it with Argentine authorities upon arrival

    • CSA will not be responsible through the  process, You will have to hire a third party company.

    • Expect to pay a big entry fee at the airport (in cash) and 4 hour waiting time.

Important: many of our hunters prefer using our rifles to avoid delays and simplify travel.

Health & Entry Requirements

  • No vaccinations required for entry
  • No COVID testing required as of now
  • Travel insurance is recommended (optional, but wise)

Our CTA team monitors all health protocols and updates. If anything changes, you’ll be notified well before your trip.

  •

Luggage & Customs

  • Declare any hunting gear, optics, or equipment as personal use

  • Meat, hides, and trophies cannot be carried back in luggage — all trophies are exported separately and professionally through our logistics team

  •

Final Word

Argentina is open, accessible, and built for hunters. No visas. No complicated paperwork. Just a passport, a flight, and a plan.
